Dislexia is a significant and persistent difficulty, which interferes with the linguistics capabilities related to writing and reading, in particular with regard to phonology, decoding, short term memory, perception and sequencing
It presents itself either as a difficulty to automate the reading, as spelling problems and, sometimes, it can interfere with the understanding of maths We should not try to explain the roots and causes of Dislexia through an individual´s IQ, neither through their emotional stability or their socio-cultural placement. |
