ACD was se up on the 22nd of November 1992 from a group of parents and professionals who were concerned by the situation of the people with learning difficulties in our country
On the 6th of May 1992, ACD was set up in the register of associations of the Generalitat de Catalunya, under the justice department and the number 13.299 On the 2nd of May, our association entered the European Dyslexia Association as a joint member, and on the 21st of April 2001 we became a full member of the institution with which we actively work and collaborate ACD wants to gather all interested parties in the development physic and psychological of all dyslexic boys and girls, as well as the education and employment needs of the dyslexic teenagers or those affected by learning difficulties. We would also like to involve the professionals impacted by the area, such as teachers, psychologists, neurologists, paediatric doctors and speech therapists. ACD intends to give answers to the education and social needs of people with dyslexia or other learning difficulties |
